Maine Romance Writers is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting romance and other fiction writers via networking and programming. Through monthly meetings and workshops, we strive to provide continuing assistance in the journey to publication, whether by a traditional path, a small press, or independent publishing.
Our next meeting is November 21st, 2015

Hannah Howell will explain the importance of words in telling
a story, how one simple word can change the whole tone. Using the right words
can make a scene shine. One wrongly placed word can steal the punch or change
the direction. Word choice can enhance the tension or romance while using the
wrong words can dim them. That is what Hannah calls the Magic of Words.
Her talk will include examples and handouts.
Hannah has been published for 27 years. A New York Times and
USA Today bestseller, she writes about Highlanders and recently branched off
into Georgian England. She has spent her life in small towns and loves
it. Her days are spent with her pen and paper or a computer and nudging
cats out of her way. To learn more about Hannah, visit www.HannahHowell.com.
