Maine Romance Writers is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting romance and other fiction writers via networking and programming. Through monthly meetings and workshops, we strive to provide continuing assistance in the journey to publication, whether by a traditional path, a small press, or independent publishing.

Our next regular meeting is March 21st, 2015

Guest Speaker:
Paula Chaffee Scardamalia
Three Dream Techniques

Dreams have the power to inspire, motivate, break through fears and blocks, and even provide concrete information for plot, characters, titles, agents and more.

Writers like William Blake, Maya Angelou, Isabel Allende, Stephen King and many others have tapped into the rich imagery, metaphors and stories of their dreams for centuries.

Participants will learn how to remember, record and work with their sleep dreams as well as how to use three different techniques for tapping into the power of both sleep and conscious dreams to keep those words and story ideas flowing. Participants are encouraged to bring any recent dreams to the workshop if they are willing to share them with the group.

Meeting Location:
