March 2016 Meeting

Maine Romance Writers is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting romance and other fiction writers via networking and programming. Through monthly meetings and workshops, we strive to provide continuing assistance in the journey to publication, whether by a traditional path, a small press, or independent publishing.

Our next meeting is March 19th, 2016

Guest Speaker:
MARIANNE RICE
"How to Build Your Author Network
Before You Get the Call"
www.mariannerice.com

In this interactive workshop you’ll learn how you can start marketing your name before you get The Call. From website building to blogging to social media stalking and partying, learn how to make connections and build relationships with authors and readers so when you get the call, you’ll have a network of followers, an awesome website, a successful blog and a connection with your followers who can help jumpstart your career.

Marianne Rice writes contemporary romances set in small New England towns. When she’s not writing, Marianne spends her time buying shoes, eating chocolate, chauffeuring her herd of children to their varying sporting events, and when there’s time, relaxing with fancy drinks and romance books. You can find her on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and on her website at www.mariannerice.com
